Mechanobiology Hub Seminar: Engineering Women’s Health through Mechanobiology
Join Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology and the Mechanobiology Hub on Tuesday November 3, 2026 for our fall internal speaker seminar to raise awareness and stimulate research in Women's Health. Learn more about applying mechanobiology to advance Women's Health, including ongoing research here at Cornell and emerging opportunities. This session will feature brief presentations and a panel discussion including Drs. Marjolein van der Meulen, Claudia Fischbach, Nozomi Nishimura, Eve Donnelly, and Kayla Wolf.

The Mechanobiology Hub at Cornell’s Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology brings together researchers across disciplines to explore how mechanical forces influence biological processes, from molecules and cells to tissues and organs. By fostering collaboration and advancing our understanding of how physical forces shape biological function, the aim is to to drive discoveries that could lead to new approaches for understanding and treating diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders.
